Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid.   Goethe

As trainers we move through the curriculum like master river guides.

We enjoy the trip, we love what we do, we move through eddies, we acknowledge the breakthroughs, the courage, the beauty, the insights, the stories, the reflections. We keep our guest feeling safe, we encourage adventure, we laugh, we look for the good, but what makes us masters is we  trust the process, while we listen for the inner wisdom to emerge. The diamonds in the rough.

A goal should scare you a little, and excite you a lot. Joe Vitale

My Internet has been down until today and I have been itching to answer the question “How has this class changed me?’ Like the great question, “ What are you going way with”, I have looked inside my  consciousness to explore the depths of my learning. It has been a rich experience, one were I looked forward to every call.

Everyone in this class is a testimonial to the value of our education through I.C.A. We all have witnessed Karen and Bron’s professional skills and have been eager to learn more. What I witnessed is a virtual classroom full of professional trainers emerging with inner competence.

I have previously taken a teleclass leader training from Teleclass .com. This class was completely different. Just like ICA is different from other schools with its richness in working internationally and giving a renewed hope to the world. A hope which stems from breaking down the walls of countries, and nationalities, to all being all related, all unique and extremely valuable. Each with a profound inner wisdom.

–I thought I wanted to really learn the ICA competencies for applying to teach at ICA Now I understand many other levels of why this class spoke to me, why it was so important to me. TTT has grown to being far greater than applying for an opportunity; it has increased my understanding of the foundation of ICA as a school.

I feel very grateful for the training and the friendships. However, in my heart, I’m still holding a burning candle of intention for being a future trainer at ICA. I want to ingrain the teachings into the fabric of my soul.

Training the Trainer has given me a greater understanding behind my education at ICA

I was proud beyond words to graduate from ICA. Now I feel proud like a peacock boasting my feelings of gratitude like a peacock struts his feathers.

I have to say: I truly enjoyed exploring, reading the blogs and listening in class about the ICA competencies. Extremely valuable!!!

The word competencies is one I do not normally use, I found myself looking it up in the dictionary. The Webster’s dictionary said see competence. Competence was defined as ;1 “ a sufficiency of means for the necessities and conveniences of life. <Provided his family with a comfortable-2 the quality or state of being competent.

Suddenly it made complete sense. Listening is the only way we can understand the sufficiency of means for the necessities and conveniences of life. Safety is how a family feels comfortable, and being authentic with knowledge is how we become competent.

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you for sharing today in the warm up. Thank you Karen and Jo Ann for your feedback, and kind words.©

Also thank you Robyn for your words of wisdom. I especially took in the honoring of different nationalities, and how culturally we our different in how we view, use, and treat silence.

These are my highlighted notes from class today.

Karen’s lesson flowed like honey. Rich smooth, and filled with nurturing wisdom.

Be an Authentic presence in the room. Hold the space.

Permission to learn. Learning is about trying something new. If we our afraid we shut down.We want to create a safe place to take risks..

Effective feedback  facilitates an environment open to learning.

Mis take = opportunity for two or three takes

Create an environment of safetyCelebratePositive acknowledgment

 Four points

  1. Focus on subject matter.
  2. Open the door to connect them with their own truth and wisdom.
  3. Quality, sit on the same chair as the learners.
  4. Safety

 What is a trainer?

1.A great listener.

2.Asks great questions.

3.Offers exercise for the class to explore deeper and experience.

4.Acknoweldges

  1. Have great supporting stories. Knows the material.

My personal condition on creating safety is feeling safe myself. This is why I believe radical self-care is so important. I feel our energy vibrates right over the phone line. It can be felt no matter how far apart we our in the world.

I listen to the spoken and the unspoken vibration in the environment. If I feel a need to increase healthy boundaries, I will. If I feel there needs more acknowledgements then I will give it. For me it is intuitive. I personally rely on my inner wisdom and the years of experience working with people.

My values as a trainer are very important.

Knowing our values is the root to all personal and professional success.

I value myself.

I value integrity.

I value honesty.

I value trust.

I value love.

I value accountability.

I value teaching as a golden opportunity.

I value positive energy.

I value the magnificent, which is in every human being.

I value the right for personal opinion.

I value open mind-ness.

I value positive thinking, looking for the good.

I value the power of spoken and unspoken words.

I value inner wisdom.

I value giving the gift of listening.

I value good housekeeping…. How to use phone lines…respecting others.

I value knowledge…research

I value my toolbox.

I value human connection.

I value a good phone line.

I value being able to be a witness to the magic.

I value the teachers who taught me.

I value inspiration, and being able to inspire others. Thank you for listening.

First of all I would like to invite everyone to surround Kathy Bailey with love. She has been supporting her mom through her transition to the other side.

We love you Kathy.

I had such a good time teaching my first ICA class. Perhaps  my lesson plan was a little to creative for a first class, but I was able to go with the flow, and teach on demand. This was a quite class, and the phone lines were doing most of the talking. But the reward at the end said it all. When I asked what are you taking away with you, they spoke up. They liked it and they liked my creative twist.

Can I do it again? I love teaching. I have always taught everything I wanted to master in my life.

I even sugest to clients who want to master abundance to teach a class on abundance.

Teaching has a way of integrading your subject in to your soul.

Teaching takes you to a whole higher level.

When I teach I step outside the box and and look for ways to inspire others. I study the material with deep passion. And I get a chance to utilize tools from  my fantastic tool box . This box is filled with  valuable tips, techniques, and inspiring stories, which I love sharing.  Very rewarding.

When I was a parent I taught Mamas Magic.

When I cared for my in-laws I taught Caregivers Magic

When I wanted more money I taught The Magic of Money

When I was told my son might have ADD  I taught The Magic of ADD

When I was stressed out I taught Inner Magic

When my daughter got married I taught How to Prepare Your  Daughter for Marriage

When my sons went to college I taught The Magic of Letting Go

When my husband and I built our dream home I taught The Magic Of Dreaming Big

There is more. However you get the point  I love teaching. Teaching is Magical.

Anyone want to sign up for a tele-class on the The Magic of Teaching? Louise

What a great warm up, thank you, and I’m still wondering what wild stories my fellow sisters have to share, when men are not present.

Tricks of the trade.

Knowing your material is a given, however adding a few good quotes or stories can help keep the conversation flowing.

Tomarrow I give my first ICA class. The class is on UAC, and needless to say,  being a Law of Attraction Coach I happen to be extremely passionate about this subject. Like ICA says it is the glue that holds everything together.

When I had an office in Ashland Oregon as a Transpersonal Therapist and Alchemical Hypnotherapist I specialized in discovering your inner critic, and accessing your inner wisdom. Nothing is more powerful than the mind.

Have you ever gone on a mental diet? Instead of watching what you eat, you watch what you are thinking, and instead of not eating sugar or fattening foods you stop saying negative thought to yourself .

I created an audio CD called The Abundance Dance it will be released in January if you would like a copy let me know, It is all about this very topic. Amber from ICA, wrote this for me:

Louise Rouse has an extraordinary insight into people and our complex emotional, physical and intellectual makeup.  I felt overwhelmed with the trials and tribulations I was facing and Louise broke the tapestry of the challenges down into manageable pieces.  She helped me to identify root causes, but more importantly, she helped me to take immediate and sustainable action to overcome them.  It took courage for me to take action and encouragement is something that Louise has in large supply.  Not only is she energetic and compassionate but she is also willing to truly challenge….a perfect mix!  With her guidance, I have come to know myself better and have learned to hold myself accountable for having the life that I want to have.  In coaching, she is fully present, insightful and willing to share her wisdom.  I have learned numerous tools and techniques that I use on a frequent basis.  The coping skills Louise has taught me will be with me for the rest of my life and for that I am eternally grateful.  One of my favorite tools is Louise’s ABunDance. Louise Rouse’s ABunDance is an exciting and progressive tool that will reintroduce you to the thrilling heartbeat of life!  Dancing the ABunDance does not require one to know how to do an arabesque or how to sing in tune.  The ABunDance is based on a solid foundation of self-love from which springs clarity of thought and an empowering cultivation of energy.  An enormous benefit of the ABunDance is that through dance and song I am reconnected with the imaginative child that lives within me.  Relinquishing to that child, I consistently find a new and creative perspective on my current life challenge.  Try the ABunDance and discover that your heart will sing and your spirit will soar!

Reading this again has helped empower me . I can do it, Thank you Amber

As part of my preparation I thought I would  chat for a while about UAC.  Have you noticed?

When we need  a little empowerment it helps to look back at what we have accomplished.

The reason UAC’S are the glue is because they are the root of understanding our mental dialog.  What was first programed into our mind during our childhood years. Like a computer the first programing always pops up.

Understanding the very foundation of our unconscious behavior is very empowering, because we can reprogram our mind. Ya Hoo!!!

Just like the four levels of mastery which Karen taught us,  when UAC’S   become consious  we take the first step in moving forward.

Being my primary aim is to become an amazing trainer, I think I will hop off and go over to see who taught the lastUAC class.

I found out it was Isabelle and that she could hardly talk in the class.

Now here is a great question, what do you do if you lost our voice from being sick?

May we all send Isabelle some healing energy.

While I was there I  jotted off an email to her to see if any homework was given.

Then I went back and dove into the ICA discussion board under AC100 UAC to get a feeling for the previous week.

I discovered a wealth of information. Things like who was in the class, who was the teacher, did they have homework, and how they processed it.

All this will be very helpful being I will be teaching  UAC part 2. I have to tell you this was a great move on my part. A very interesting read.  Now, I feel like I have a keen understanding  to build my class on.

I aslo printed out the TTT class outline. I jotted down some notes and names.

My next break is a good night sleep so I will be refreshed in the morning.

Before I go to sleep I’m going to imagine the class being very successful, enjoyable, and being an amazing, professional, inspirational goddess teacher. I will ask my inner wisdom to give me any ideas it has stored in my mind from my previous experience, and to tell me through my dreams or when I awake in the morning. I

In the morning, after I plan my day and finish my hot- tub rital of soaking in a gratitude meditation, I will begin reflecting on my class outline, and go for a walk.

When  I come back I will start coaching my clients for the day, then take another moment in nature before my big class. Thank you for listening to me chat away.

Notes from class with added reflections.

It is all about them. What can we achieve for them.

How will I know I achieved it?

Setting up structure to know were they are going.

Be well prepared.

You can pull people in with a simple question. Build on the curiosity factor.

Be specific, step by step examples.

Provocative questions.

That’s good, tell me more.

You are on the cusp of something, tell me more.

Honoring the person by saying something like, “I’m going to use that”.

Again it is all about them, how can I achieve results for them?

The four levels of mastery.

1.”I don’t even know that that I do not know”.

2.” Now that I know I want to learn.”

3.” I’m learning”

4. “Now it is second nature, like a fish in water”.

What can I listen for that will tell me which level a person is at?

The foundation for adult learning

Helps achieve outcomes.

It is observable.

If observable, then that is pretty powerful.

 How to enrich the training.

Find the knowledge that supports it.

Through research, stories [metaphors], and  personal wisdom.

The art of facilitation is working with learners of all levels.

Never assume everyone is on the same level.

©©Brushing your teeth Karen was a great demonstration.

Knowing why you want it…..When it is on purpose…..When you tap into it……. it transforms your life. It gives you confidence and certainty…..grateful of serving.

“Authenticity is about alignment. It’s genuineness with a sense of being real and true to your self.” Soleirs Green
